Genius Books at Nigeria Int. Book Fair 2021

LAGOS, Nigeria - Nigeria International Book Fair (NIBF)

Genius Books attended the 2021 Nigeria International Book Fair which held at Victoria Island, Lagos under the umbrella of The Literary Cooperative Multipurpose Society; an umbrella for aspiring and successful authors.

​

The fair opened a lot of marketing and networking opportunities for writers and authors.

LAGOS, Nigeria - Dominican Nursery and Primary School, Lagos.

 

Genius Books was represented at the 2021 World Book Day. Mary-Joan Oluoma-Nwaogu, representing Genius Books, gave a talk on the theme of this year's world Book Day: Share a Story. While encouraging children on putting their thoughts in writing, she also encouraged them  to share their stories with meaningful adults who can assist and direct them on becoming creative writers and authors.

Books published by Genius Books were exhibited during the programme while children who participated actively in the discussions were rewarded with free story books from Genius Books.

LAGOS, Nigeria - Adventures of Emily by Ijeoma Benita Nwaogu (Nigeria’s Youngest Author)

 

Ijeoma Benita Nwaogu, the sensational Nigeria's youngest author has added to her literary world, another epic book titled  "Adventures of Emily" at age 12. Like her first book, "the lost girl", The new book   is her imagination if how adventurous children could be.  Adventures of Emily is a book full of adventures and good lessons for children.  It also teaches children to be bold and responsible in their communities.

The Book was  launched on December 8, 2016.

LAGOS, Nigeria - The lost girl is the reflection of the author's imagination, creativity, and perseverance. Ths story illustrates the curiosity and fascination of children with animals and the distress parents experience when they leave their children with uncaring friends and neighbours. 

 

The Lost Girl, published by Genius Books, was launched at SOS Children Village on July 17, 2013. The book has already received critical acclaim. Odenfenwa David said her “children were motivated" and found the stories "very remarkable and inspiring".

 

Ijeoma Nwaogu, the author of ‘The Lost Girl’ is a primary 3 pupil of SOS Hermann Gmeiner Primary School. At age 5, she wrote her first book manuscript (The Lost Girl) and she has written three other story manuscripts, yet to be published. She is a member of Junior Girls Guild (Brownie).
